One example of AI in the Community is the App Calorie Mama.

In this app you take a photo of the food you are about to eat and it recognising the picture and gives a reading of the amount of calories that are in the meal.

Many people are on strict diets and calorie amounts for health reasons and the management of chronic illness. This app makes calorie counting accessible for many people including people like my parents who need to observe diet and calories for the management of chronic illness but who do not know how to use Google, or other more details apps that require text input.
