AI in Partial Information Games

In the past two years, AI has been programmed to beat top-level players in Poker and StarCraft. AI has been used to beat top-level players in perfect information games such as AlphaGo beating top players in Go. StarCraft and Poker are examples of AI winning games with imperfect information and no single optimal strategy. We’re constantly required to solve real world problems using predictions based on long sequences of data. These programs provide us with tools and techniques on how that can be accomplished better and with less errors.
