To me the sign of an excellent course is when it makes you look at the ‘ordinary’ in a very different way. Something we use everyday – our emails with spam filters – I had never thought of the fact that machines using AI and NLP were at work keeping spam out of my email inbox.  I have a much greater appreciation of AI.  Also the video on NLP and using it to prevent online bullying by picking up words in context.  Thereby programers creating  nice ‘bots’ instead of the nasty ones you see in Facebook.
