Risks and benefits of AI technologies
The lesson in question will involve having students take the floor by giving what they know about AI, and how it works. Then in groups with paper and a texter, they will write down key words they think link with AI. From here, we will mind map/brain storm the key words and see how they relate to the AI concept, with students explaining why they chose the words. Once, this has been done, ethics will be discussed in a similar fashion, and relations between the two will be identified. From here, the outline of the unit will be shown and discussed, along with a video of ethics in AI. The task that we will be building upto will be discussed, and a consensus will be reached if students like the idea of it, or how it could be improved.
