An example of AI technology is ‘The Box’, a box with two buttons developed by Neurobiologist Moran Cerf.

The overall aim of the box is for the user to press a button before the lights turn on. It seems easy to beat however, it uses artificial intelligence to learn which concious brain activities (the press) follws on from which subconcious brain activities (the decision to press), and as such identifying the subconcious moment before the user is conciously aware of their action and lights up before the user has the chance to press the button.

I find this really fascinating as well as the possible applications.
