An introduction to AI.

To check prior knowledge I would start my lesson with a short online quiz and have a class discussion of the results. Then I would provide students with a powerpoint I have prepared (Artificial Intelligence) to look at what AI is, and provide some examples (and questions to answer) of where AI is used in society including movies, driverless cars, and Sophia as a specific example.

I would conclude the lesson by having students view a clip from the ‘Jetsons‘, with a discussion of other aspects of AI/technology in other films/TV series that we have or soon will be in our society. Finish with a Kahoot!
