In previous lesson, we looked at the jobs and functions that AI can perform (and even outperform humans). Initiate a discussion: what kinds of jobs might be safe from the AI takeover?
Bring up the topic of AI censorship on social media platforms such as Instagram. What are the implications for freedom of speech?
Discuss the implications for privacy. How can voice recognition e.g. Siri be abused? Discuss some cases that happened recently where a certain social media platform was discovered to be spying on people via their messaging app.
Imagine you are an evil mastermind who wants to rule the world. Create a dystopian plan in which you would use AI to do this. How would you use AI? Think about AI’s ability to make inferences from data.
