Unit 2: Task –

1. Explain what you think are some of the key differences between cyber security, cyber awareness and cyber safety. To what extent are you teaching these in the classroom or to what extend do you think they should be taught and why?

Cyber security involves protecting the software, programs & internal data from hacking & attacks. Cyber awareness is ensuring you have the correct knowledge and understanding of using technology to protect your information. While Cyber safety is ensuring an individual can safely use technology & the cyber space.
The differences between these areas are important to be taught in the classroom to ensure students are aware of all aspects of the use of the cyber space. It is just as important for them to know how to keep their own information safe as well as keep the software that they are using safe & in good condition.
