Task 1: AI Examples

An example of AI that interests me, is self-driving cars, also known as an autonomous cars, driver-less cars, or robotic cars. These cars incorporate vehicular automation, which means it is a vehicle capable of sensing its environment and moving safely with no human input. Self-driving cars combine a variety of sensors to perceive their surroundings, and advanced control systems interpret this sensory information to identify an appropriate navigation path, by identifying and avoiding obstacles and relevant signage. Although this is amazing, I am still wary of the idea relying on a car to drive itself through busy traffic, congested areas (which includes pedestrians and animals), etc!
